As far as Islamic-radical-inspired attacks like the one at Fort Hood and in San Berdoo and Orlando, there have definitely been fewer of those reported in the last four years.

In fact, at the end of 2017, they seemed to stop completely.

It's almost as if someone threw a switch.

    Almost ...

2019: Shooting at Pensacola air base was likely 'terror' attack inspired by radical Islamist ideology, sources say

2019: Teen Pleads Guilty to Plotting Islamic State-Inspired Mass Shooting at Texas Mall | KTLA

2018: FBI: Ohio terror suspect was inspired by Pittsburgh synagogue shooting

A couple of these were stopped, but not by a switch.

Now compare those numbers with domestic right wing violence.

Police in the story didn't think this was a mass shooting plot but rather an isolated incident. And given which mall it was, I won't be shocked if it was gang related.

Only two dead? Bah, that’s like the old days of going postal.
