Taysom Hill made a very Jameis-like throw and got lucky when the linebacker dropped the ball.

Carson Wentz in a rainstorm is an invitation for a six interception game.

I looked it up, and, according to a Quora answer, there were nine total kickers and punters in the NFL. Including the ones already named, there was Paul McFadden (who was with the Eagles and Giants), apparently Jeff Wilkens tried barefoot for a few games, and Dave Warnke, who had an infamous one-game stint for the Bucs in ‘83.

Warnke was the guy who John McKay used to replace Bill Capece after McKay was quoted as saying the Bucs would not attempt any field goals for the rest of the season, and wished Merry Christmas to the sportswriters. As it turned out, Warnke did try one field goal (missed of course), and McKay used an offensive lineman named George Yarno to kick an extra point.

Punters were Jim Miller, who kicked for a few years, John Goodson, and Tommy Thompson, who punted with a shoe, and kicked off barefoot.

Yeah, that was a quick reminder that Drew Brees is out.

But watching RedZone here ... and there are an uncommon number of throws in the red zone where quarterbacks are trying to force passes into nonexistent windows. No alley-oops to the corners of the end zone. No attempts to open up anything anywhere.

McFadden kicked for the Falcons in 1989 -- until he tore a thigh muscle in warmups before a game with the 49ers. QB Chris Miller kicked a field goal in that game. In fact, it was the only Atlanta score in a 45-3 loss. RB Keith Jones kicked off.

    McFadden never played again.

Dick Kenney, the kicker for the 60s Michigan State team, was from Hawaii and he kicked barefoot
The Free Press did a feature on him and the main art was a closeup of his kicking foot, which was basically one giant callous

Ravens going for two in the second quarter and Titans with a fake punt. @MileHigh will not be pleased

McFadden brings back an awesome memory.

I grew up with someone who was an Eagles fan. In 1984, the Dolphins were 10-0, facing Philly in a national game. My buddy was convinced the Eagles were going to beat them and end the streak. They played great, and scored a touchdown to pull within 24-23 at the two-minute warning.

My friend was like, "We're going to win this in overtime!" He's trashing Marino, ripping Shula, etc. (we're 14 at the time). Then, McFadden comes to kick the PAT and Doug Betters blocks it. Miami recovers the on-side kick and wins the game. Our third friend turns to him and says, "I knew that kick was going to be blocked."

We got kicked out of his house.

Joe Burrow carted off the field with what looked like a bad knee injury or broken leg. He got his left leg caved in from the side as he was throwing a deep ball. Watching Red Zone and they haven't had an update or replay of it, but he seems to be done at least for today if not the season.

Steelers called for PI on the final play of the third quarter. Then the officials run one more play with 0:0 on the clock. What is the reasoning behind this?

Quarters cannot end with a defensive penalty.
