    My friend worked at Yosemite. We visited. There is a loop video playing on a monitor in the lobby of the hotel warning against leaving any edible items in your vehicle. It shows a car that was totally ripped apart by a bear, which was trying to get a tiny breath mint.

    Same here in Colorado. Last year, a car in Breckenridge got ripped apart after a bear detected some gummy bears.
