A young aerospace engineer I interviewed made the point that we're always 20 years away from Mars. Which we'll be in another 20.

You're in America, TV. Speak English. Or at least Spanglish.

Doubling down on oil might not be the play.

Yeah, those top two are real big on everyone's list these days. I'm so concerned about Mars since I'm unemployed, can't pay bills and live in fear me and my family could catch a virus and die.

For the last few days I have been wondering how many of those 50 million early voters are "shy" Trumpers ...

... my first thought was at least 30 million of them.

This guy is a fraud. It has been proven in dozens upon dozens of poli sci surveys that the 2016 polls missed not because of "shy" Trump voters, but because Americans with low levels of "social trust," which more or less means commitment to and belief in society, are disproportionately unwilling to answer any poll. These folks are also disproportionately white no-college men, Trump's strongest supporters. Ask 'em down at the tavern and they'll tell you they like Trump, but when the phone rings, it could be some gummint plot. In 2018 he ran the same pitch on his midterm polls, and they were notably incorrect 0n the whole.

... and the other 20 million were Bernie Bros who wrote in their dear leader's name.

You could triple that number and not make a dent in the pigeon population.

And if you watched the debate without any prior knowledge, there is no way you call Trump the winner.

It’s like saying John Goodman is in better shape than Liam Neeson because Goodman lost some weight.
