    Coca Cola is discontinuing Tab after nearly 60 years - CNN

    A few thoughts:

    1) I didn't know it was even still around.
    2) I don't think I ever drank one.
    3) Aside from Back to the Future, did anything around that long have less cultural significance?
    4) Did anyone under a certain age know what it was?

    Don't drink Tab ... it has saccharin!

    I had a few Tabs as a kid in like 1978. Last time I had a Tab.

    Relic from a whole other time and place.

    I had a couple as a kid. I think I just liked it because it was in a pink can. But I never drank it enough to really remember what it tasted like. Things like Dr Pepper was more available. And my parents mainly bought diet sodas, so that's what I gravitated toward.

    Regular RC Cola might be the best sugar cola.

    Mind you, I actually prefer the diet ones now, liquid sugar just tastes weird in soda, but RC was damn good.

    Taking away RC Cola and Moon Pies might do more to trigger the South into a second Civil War than if you came for their guns.
