Woj has a story up now - Nash hired by Nets as head coach. Nash seemingly has the demeanor and mindset to be a head coach, and I believe he was part of the Warriors' large front office when Durant was there. The biggest thing will be whether he can get through to Irving. Also, if we're doing cross-sport, positional comparisons for manager hirings, then - catcher : baseball :: point guard : basketball.

    D'Antoni/Nash/Amare should've won a title or two.

The Nash hire has disaster written all over it. He’s never coached and really seems to be a little aloof for the job.

I have no idea if this will work -- honestly, I thought he was much more focused on soccer these days -- but it reminds me a bit of the Warriors hiring Steve Kerr with no coaching experience. That turned out OK.

Kerr had at least stayed in the game as a GM and announcer. Nash seems like a bright guy who had the respect of his teammates, but I got the sense that he didn’t have the personality for coaching.

During the DURANT time, Nash was close to KD I believe.

LeBron was not Wades Pippen, that is ridiculous.

I didn’t even realize that. Seems like he was a minister without portfolio.
