College football 2020 offseason thread

    Not to mention that it’s a contact sport. Anybody advocating playing football at this point in our history is simply an idiot. (Yes, hockey is a contact sport too, but involving fewer people, bubbles, Canada, etc.)

    I brought up hockey on the COVID sports board. You watch hockey and it is amazing the job they've done. They are all over each other, even in celebrations. It just shows how well they've done with their bubble that they are good to go. College football, which can't even do offseason workouts with out outbreaks? Good luck.

    And although it's been said, many times, many ways, it helps that the NHL's bubble cities are in Canada, where they took this seriously from the get-go.

    Football has always seemed implausible to me, but I’m a layman. I’m baffled why some leagues are out while others are in — for now — when most of the country is still in a bad spot with the Trumpandemic.
