It was. Dee Wallace had it in fare of the time, as well.

It was a very odd film for Paul Newman to be in, was it not?

Yeah, her role was just so off. It was like "The Flying Nun Gets a Side Gig."

I watched this show every Sunday when it was on! Might have been the only one, who knows. I learned a bit ago that he was actually pretty young, at least in terms of the characters he played, in some of these roles. It's still amazing to watch them and realize he was only in his early to mid 50s though. Just looked up Our House out of curiosity and he was a whole 13 years older than Deidre Hall who played the daughter-in-law. I know stuff like that happens in Hollywood, but it's still interesting to look at stuff like that side-by-side.

Angela Landsbury was the mother of Laurence Harvey in The Manchurian Candidate.
She was 37. He was 35.

In State of the Union, she played a powerful newspaper publisher...at 22.

I loved him in "Our House," which reminds me in so many weird ways of "Blue Bloods" today.

No problem. To be honest, before "Murder, She Wrote" hit it big, I always thought it was easy to confuse those two with each other.
