That's the next county over from us, so we heard some rumors early on that things went sour quickly. Didn't realize how badly, though. Yeah, that's an overnight camp but you're still asking teachers and students to sit in an enclosed classroom for up to eight hours.

Instead of markers and crayons, Georgia teachers will be listing "hydroxychloroquine" on their classroom requests at Walmart.

It's just one guy and is unlikely to matter to anyone here, but it's a story in B'ham. A UAB police officer who contracted Covid around the end of March spent three months in the hospital, 45 days of it in the ICU. He went home in early July. He has died after relapsing and having to return to the hospital. Sgt. Guyton was one of first locals to contract it, so he was a story when he caught it, a story when he went home, and unfortunately is a story once again after he passed.

44% of the campers, counselors, and staff caught it, and they shut it down after four days... but it's ok going back to school because young people don't catch Covid, right?

Yesterday, I read about one of the first COVID-19 patients in California -- was on the vent for something like 30 days and in the hospital for 100 -- who is still trying to fully recover. But it's just like the flu (or around here, fake news).

Yeah, it's "just the flu" unless you or one of your loved ones catches it.

I don't see how people can read something like this and still say that - but fatigue has set in and the "It's flu" set isn't reading these any more.

This doctor just endured the deadliest week of his career

What the "But kids don't get sick!!!" crowd really needs to see out of this:

I think the plan is for all of America to be sick in bed for Inauguration Day.

Especially with some schools going back to class.
