I am sometimes dragged into political conversations, and most involve my friends who are trump supporters. I hope they understand most times I walk away thinking they are fucking morons and/or morally reprehensible and possibly racists. And I have heard “but I’ve got black/hispanic friends” more than once. I even told one that her weekly cleaning crew at her house doesn’t count as “friends”.
