    The PE coach in junior high used to say, "Y'all need to stop drankin' them Co-Colas around here." I honestly had no clue what that meant until I moved to Atlanta.

    I grew up in Atlanta, and that's pretty much how we said it. Regional dialect.

    Same thing with the name of the city. I still pronounce that pretty close to "Etlannuh".

    Valley Girl grows up to be Valley Soccer Mom. (True story: I dated a California blonde who ran out of gas shortly after getting her first car because she didn't realize you had to fill it back up at some point. Really.)
