    I have met many many police officers. Can't cover sports without doing so. Got along great. Some were a little edgy, but at a bar late at night, that's not a bad thing in terms of story swapping. But American police departments as a whole need major regrooving, involving the firing of many officers and jailing of not a few.

    I was actually talking about this with someone today. Ive been up to 3 am the last three nights watching the protests and the riots and haven't heard a word about COVID. A friend and I were saying a week ago that if someone told you COVID would be pushed off the front page, you'd think they were freakin nuts

    I’ve about had it with the thin blue/red line bullshit. You get to retire before age 50 with Cadillac health care and retirement packages that are paid for by taxpayers. You’re supported well enough as it is.
