    Yes!

Reached No. 1 in August, 1960. The only No. 1 for Brian Hyland.

Since no one has come up with guesses, i will post the answer and a followup question.

The longest song title to ever hit the charts was .....

Jeremiah Peabody's polyunsaturated, quick dissolving, fast acting, pleasant tasting, green and purple pills

Peaked at Number 35 in Sept. 1961.

The follow-up... What two songs from Ray Stevens went to No. 1 on the chart?

I'm gonna guess "The Streak" and "Everything Is Beautiful."

Three Americans were in Band Aid. Who were they?

I think Dan Aykroyd was there, so John Candy is a shot in the dark.

Kool and maybe two members of the Gang? Aka, I know Kool Bell was there, and I am pretty sure he is from Jersey, so may be some of the other guys.

Looked it up - never would have gotten it. And it's legit too - not a naturalized Brit or anything like that.

Just a guess, Chrissie Hynde? I don't know for a fact she was part of it, but she was an American in a band (The Pretenders) with some Brits, and I think she played overseas quite a bit.
