"Canadians need more than thoughts and prayers," Troudeau said.
So that's what leadership sounds like.

There are some problems with the ban as “assault type weapons” are hard to define. Semi auto weapons were already banned here so the new ban is largely symbolic.

That being said I am all in favour of it. Ban handguns while we’re at it as far as I’m concerned. Shotguns and bolt action rifles for hunting and that’s it.

They still have a long way to go to atone for Nickelback, though.

I would really like to live there. Sane leadership. Nice people. Clean cities.

The sane leadership is a judgement call. We have an immature child and you have a monster, both disasters. We do have nice reasonably safe cities though. Everything is expensive.

Yeah, very much a judgement call re: Trudeau. I will say this as an Ontarian: two months ago Doug Ford was a Trump-lite buffoon who was ruining the province but he has been tremendous throughout this pandemic here, showing leadership and being very upfront with the public during his daily updates, deferring to the medical experts and coming down hard on those who defy the social distancing regulations. Fortunately we won't have nuts with machine guns showing up at Queen's Park demanding to be able to go to Jack Astor's or Boston Pizza.

    But cold.

I've been to Montreal, Toronto and Hamilton - loved all of it. Everyone I know raves about Vancouver and I'd like to get there one day. Maybe that's where Ovi will pass Gretzky and I'll see it then.
