    Diesel exhaust fluid, or DEF, is a much more efficient source of urea than astro piss. Easily synthesized on the moon from present ingredients in much greater quantity. I'm stupider now.

    Yep, DEF is much more concentrated. Probably disappoints a bunch of truckers who figured they could just set up a funnel-and-tube system in their sleepers to piss into and save them some time.

    They're obviously going to have to reclaim every molecule of water they can, so it makes sense to see if they can make some use of the byproducts.
