Notes on several items in this thread:

Bob Weiss was almost totally bald when he played for the Braves. The only balder while guy in the NBA may have been Jack Marin.

My great aunt worked in the dining hall at St. Bona's for 30-plus years. She said Bob Lanier was a great, great kid who always treated the staff with respect. Except for Shaq, he had the largest basketball sneaker I ever saw.

Saw Ernie D play for PC against Canisius, with Kevin Stacom and Bad News Barnes and Nehru King, one of the all-time great CBB names. My dad took me to the Aud specifically to see Ernie, about 1971 or so.

McMillen and Elmore were on the Maryland team that opened the Robins Center in Dec., 1972. They destroyed us. And I saw Marvin Webster play at Brockport State when he was at Morgan State.

I know more names on this thread than the names of guys now in the NBA.

Bob Weiss was on the Wilmington (Del.) Blue Bombers of the Eastern League in the '60s. He was bald then, too.
