2020 Atlantic Hurricane Season Running Thread

It's never too early to get the predictions out.
The hurricane season starts June 1.
14-18 tropical storms
7-9 hurricanes
2-4 major hurricanes

You notice where it compared the season to 2005, which brought us Katrina?

 

Have to admit, I assumed this thread meant a Hurricane was headed directly for the East Coast to add to the coronavirus misery.

Angel Soft, Bounty, Brawny, Charmin, Cottonelle, Georgia-Pacific, Kleenex, Marcal, Northern, Puffs, Scott, Viva and White Cloud

Like others, I saw the thread pop up and thought, "Oh, you have to be kidding me. What next, locusts?"

 

To be fair, in my 26 years in South Florida I believe an "above-average" hurricane season was forecast about 23 times.
