Everyone knows Chris Christie was a catcher in high school. But who is the other catcher who transferred mid-senior year, bumping Christie to the bench? This person was later a low round draft pick by MLB.

Phil Lombardi? Aka, thinking of a guy who would have been in a New Jersey high school circa 1980 who later was an mlb catcher.

Not Lombardi. My guy did not reach majors -- but he's a friend.

Paying this off. The five are Dusty Baker (player '81), Maddon (Cubs), Francona (Red Sox) and then Bob Melvin (who won a ring as a coach with the Diamondbacks) and Ron Gardenhire (who also won a ring as a coach with the (Twins).

Braves Field? I'm thinking the photo was taken from the "Jury Box".

    By port, I'm guessing Baltimore.

Minor league stadium, no longer around. The great Steve Sundra pitched there.
