You can hold them in October (not much different than the Sept. 17-Oct. 2 Seoul Olympics).

If only American teevee wouldn't pitch a fit about all that competing programming during that time.

Prognostication is easy if you do it right.

Chef: no Winter Olympics this year! :)

You know, at this point I don't give two shits about the Olympics one way or the other. I feel for the athletes who have trained all their lives for the 2020 Olympics, but there are far larger and more important groups I care about more.

They had no choice, especially after USA Swimming and Track and Field called for it last week. Once Canada and Australia said they weren't coming, it was games over.

Maybe push it to May/June '21?
Or else just kick everything back 365 days.

Olympics postponed to 2021. I can't think a more loathesome org short of the FATUS org that deserves this more than the IOC.

It's just a postponement. It doesn't hurt anything except NBC's ad sales for the summer, which they'll make back in 2021. This was about the easiest decision to make I've ever heard of. It had to be for the IOC to get it right.

FIFA. Not even close and their corruption predates this "administration."
