No concert soundtracks, that means no to The Last Waltz. Not the same artist. That’s a no to Amadeus, Purple Rain and A Hard Day’s Night. No musicals, that’s a no to Rocky Horror Picture Show.

I can be argued out of all:
    American Graffiti
    Almost Famous
    The Commitments
    Dazed and Confused.

If you're a fan of the genres represented, this is pretty damn good.

    "Saturday Night Fever"
"Good Morning, Vietnam" (excerpts of some Adrian Cronauer - i.e., Robin Williams - monologues)
"Against All Odds" (Track each by Phil Collins, Peter Gabriel and Mike Rutherford plus one from Stevie Nicks)
Almost anything from a film score written by John Williams (look up the extensive catalog and pick one)

    The Crow
    Top Gun

Transformers: The Movie (What can I say? I love "The Touch" and "Dare" by Stan Bush)

Grosse Point Blank, not in my top 4 but anything with Echo and The Bunnymen is great

Not on a Rushmore, but one of the most varied and random soundtrack...

An amazing amount of songs on this.

not a soundtrack guy by any means, but my wife bought me the vinyl of guardians a few years back. I play the “Awesome mix” album. She plays the soundtrack album. We make it work.
