It's a good line, though it made me do a little research and find this. I think his rule only applies to men, which makes sense given what Hollywood is.

I think the male equivalent of nudity - if not full frontal - is kissing another man on screen or losing (or gaining) a ton of weight "to show commitment to a role."

I'd forgotten Charlize Theron making a face that sure seemed like she was pissed, but this was either right before or during the time she worked with MacFarlane on A Million Ways to Die in the West." She also did a guest shot on The Orville.

Jonah Hill wrote and directed and it's outstanding. Na'Kel Smith and Sunny Puljic owned their roles.

    Finally saw Parasite. Damn. Fantastic.

I saw four of the best pic nominees and, from the ones I saw, it was far and away the best of my bunch.

Watched that on the plane back from London last summer. Enjoyable, just about the perfect length for a film. Very relatable.

Watched Charlie Wilson's War this past weekend and enjoyed it.

Different type of role, seemingly, for Hanks but he was good as the congressman. Hoffman (RIP) was very good in the role of CIA officer.

Caught The Lodge tonight. Had high expectations, and it fell fairly short of those. Same people who did the Austrian horror film Goodnight Mommy, which turned out to be more torture porn than anything.

Look, they set a couple of interesting themes here. Kids are assholes. Exactly the plot of Goodnight Mommy. Woman with PTSD deprived of her meds by said asshole kids who pull an elaborate prank on her. Hilarity ensues? My biggest issue is that they did not do enough to set up the conflict in the opening portion of the film, and there was nothing to make me believe that Richard and Grace had any sort of chemistry, certainly not enough to believe he'd bring her alone to hang out alone with the kids six months after their mom put a bullet in her brain. I just wasn't buying that he'd have that level of trust with her.
