Exactly. Also, cheating has been an open part of baseball forever. The outcry on this one seems a little ridiculous.

Teams have been complaining about theAstros cheating for 3 years, minimum. The National were so convinced the Astros were cheating last year they went through elaborate procedures between the NCLS and WS to work around the cheating. The Astros cheated last year, in the AL playoffs and tried to in the WS. Articles were written about the cheating over the past few years. 2018 article: Jeff Passan Makes it Clear How Ridiculous it is That Astros Aren't Being Punished for Spying

It’s baseball and PEDs, don’t tarnish the product. Where were the journalists? If the complaints were made and nothing happened, it must mean a cover up. It’s not the problem, but how you deal with the problem. It’s how you react to being accused. Guess that only applies to emails?

St Joe of Brooklyn should be fired, or as they will call it, a well deserved retirement for a Hall of Fame Man with impeccable credentials and a sterling reputation. Did he cover up the complaints? Did he even investigate? He’s in charge of the that part of the Commissioner’s Office, it was his job. 2 consecutive WorldSeries Champions cheated beyond the usual trying to get an advantage. If a catcher puts down a signal and there’s a man on second, it’s in view. There’s no expectation of privacy. That the runner at 2nd can relay it to the batter without ‘outside objects’, that’s gamesmanship. The Astros and Red Sox cheated, that’s an unfair advantage against the rules and designed to circumvent to rules.

Did you hear players say that Bonds stole Pujols MVPs, like Altuve has been accused of stealing Judge’s MVP?

Buffalo Wild Wings with a savage subtweet and predictably, the city of Houston is embarrassing itself with its replies.

Dusty Baker pleading with MLB to protect the Astros from getting HBP sounds like a defense attorney asking the court to protect its child rapist client from the bad people in jail.

Pitchers will throw beanballs and get suspensions, therefore getting a bigger penalty than the guys who were cheating.

Truly a fine mess MLB has on its hands. Yet I'll try to get in front of a TV for the first game of every series the Astros play on the road.

I doubt many pitchers will go headhunting, but it will be open season on rib cages and behinds.

The Astros should devote some spring training hours to practicing rolling away from pitches to reduce the sting.

Coincidentally Dusty Baker was managing Bonds then and is around trying to defend Altuve now.

Some minor-league team is going to have jersey buzzer night and it's going to be fantastic.

If Altuve doesn’t have a tattoo I’m guessing he’s getting one right now.
