Hey, the Red Sox have a manager just in the nick of time, Ron Reinecke. Poor bastard.

He’s gonna make more this year than his career earnings

Hope he invests wisely, because he's not drawing too many years of salary. Better than even money they throw him over the side by Election Day.

And still Manfred is silent about punishing Boston cheating

Will not happen. Obvious that the decision is to end it all here. No players, no team but Houston. That'll work until the next leak. Manfred makes Bowie Kuhn look like a genius.

    24 outs a team is 8 innings. It’s a Kobe miracle

I'm smack dab in the middle of the I-4/I-75 Triangle of Terrible Baseball this spring. The three closest teams (if I wish to exclude Tampa) are all expected to lose 100-plus games in 2020.

Eight miles from LECOM Park (Pirates)
19 miles from Ed Smith (Orioles)
60 miles from Joker Marchant (Tigers)

That should mean plenty of cheap tickets, but the snowbirds from up North don't care. They'll shell out $30 to watch three innings of semi-regulars and then a parade of 40-man roster invitees. Plus, Bradenton has absolutely no public parking near the stadium, so expect to pay $20 to some guy to park in his front yard. (Shades of Indy!)

Silver lining: The minor league camps (Pirate City and Buck O'Neill Complex) are free. I'll watch a lot of kids from my zero-gravity chair when they start practicing next month.

I have Clearwater and Dunedin close by
Back in the day, you could do a pregame feature and repair to the Jays trailer, which featured a refrigerator filled to the brim with Labatt’s
Last time I went to Lakeland I got caught in the Plant City Strawberry Festival traffic so that is no longer an option
