Sadly it went down as badly as the Duffy Daugherty situation
Just as Duffy went down in flames after other schools began recruiting black athletes, Dantonio is done after overreaching on the recruiting trail after a five-year period of great success
If you ask me honestly if the five years were worth this, I think most MSU fans would say yes
Mike Tressel is the interim coach
    The hot names are gone
They don’t really want him but MSU might have to get reacquainted with Pat Narduzzi
Then again, I could get behind the Fighting Fickells

Luke Fickell the front-runner to replace Mark Dantonio at Michigan State, sources say

Izzo on BTN saying Dantonio felt “it was time”
    There’s a reason for that
Acting like it was Dantonio’s choice

So everyone at Sparty U is dirty or worse except Izzo? Not buying it. But Izzo is the perfect guy to be a dirty recruiter, turn a blind eye to bad conduct or fail to report harmful conduct of others. He’s so nice to the media, he gets a gym pass

    Izzo isn’t a dirty recruiter
Otherwise he wouldn’t lose players to Cheaterpari, Dollar Bill Self and others
Brian Bowen’s family turned to Louisville after Izzo refused to pay them
Looking the other way when players behave badly has happened more than once

With Saban an outlier, someone posted here awhile ago how major CF coaches of a certain age lose their recruting mojo, it's a data point.
