Fairly certain one of the DIII teams in town beat Christendom by 40 a few years back, so that's not surprising.

 

A Virginia college I haven't heard of! That hasn't happened in a while.

 

Instead of a bodybag game, would that be considered a martyr game?

 

I don't know quite what to say about this one. Love to have been in a seat to see it.

Last night's gem: Merrimack 110, Lesley University 16. Merrimack led 47-9 at half and outscored poor Lesley 63-7 in the second half.

I get that this was DI (albeit new to that level) vs. DIII, but how in the hell do you only get 16 points in a game? I mean, these guys had to at least be decent high school players to grab court time at this school, right? Sixteen in forty is a truly an accomplishment of immense ineptitude/sucktitude.

 

Boston College almost went a half scoreless in an ACC game. It was the same year the basketball and football teams lost every conference game.

 

The female scholarship players commit felonies just as much as the male scholarship players.
