If you’re not a Spurs fan, and I’m ambivalent about them one way or another, it will be fun to see how Mourinho stokes his own flame-out. Pop that popcorn.

He always has to show the world he's boss. My guess is he'll pick a fight with Kane the way he did with Pogba (admittedly a more problematic player). Just the worst possible choice. The only sane way to go after firing Poch would be to hire a "roll the ball out and let the boys play" type as an interim for the rest of the year and hope that left to its own devices, Spurs' individual talent would assert itself.

Oh, fuck it, why not? It's just gonna be the usual Mourinho circus all year along anyway.

Spurs tried to shit that one away ... but Mourinho gets his first dub.

Win's a win, but telling how Spurs were so bad in extra time at the defensive shell approach Mourinho likes when he's got a late lead.

Bet heavily on the new coach bounce and was rewarded.

Watford is like a 13-year-old boy who gets a girl's clothes off and has no fucking clue what to do afterward. Was in the box all day long, couldn't come close to finishing. Fuck. That was as frustrating a watch as I can remember. Clearly the better side for the majority of the match and lose 3-0. Props to Burnley's ability to a) defend and b) convert set pieces.

    *snicker*

    (The phrasing, not Watford’s misfortune.)
