Good to see his team is 2-9 this year. Though one of those wins was 86-7. Weird.

That win was probably Northeastern State, which I believe had allowed the most points in Division II history with one week to go. My nephew called me yesterday to ask me about them because his school, Fort Hays State, beat them 91-7 on Saturday. He said they were trying to figure out how to burn clock during the second half but dive plays were gaining 20 yards a pop.

Here's their schedule. The *fewest* points they allowed in their last four games: 79!

Lincoln University sure is glad to have NSU in that league. Of course, their standing as the second-worst team in the area is obvious with them only scoring 27 points against them.

I believe Northeastern State intends to leave the MIAA soon. Not sure if it's at the end of this school year or the next.

Wonder if there was any drama for the cameras.

When I was at Santa Monica College in 1972, we played Laney for the state basketball championship. Laney had two guys on the way to Cal, our best guy walked on to the volleyball team at UC Santa Barbara. Santa Monica won in a rout, shooting 70 percent in the first half. Laney probably would have won 9 out of 10 against that team, but not that day.

    Covering all the bases.

Netflix comes up with a Last Chance U-like series both teenage girls and middle aged men can revel in.

    I am not that intrepid.

I love the fucking show, watched all four seasons again over the holidays. Half-disappointed not to see Henry play in whatever crap bowl his Nevada team was in.

The story says he also played at four different high schools. I sense a pattern....
