I haven't looked (largely because my house won't be affected). I'm guessing the supplies of generators in the Bay Area can't be very high.

Went to the store yesterday and there was a run on cases of water. Read an older woman got mugged for hers outside s Wal-Mart.

Ha! I love that dude's wife who clearly saw that commercial as her big showbiz break. I laughed at her every time that commercial aired.

Well, me. My power is on and she's still ridiculous.

Actually the bad joke in all of this is even if you have solar you are still on the grid. Unless you have storage, the power is still going out.

Wow. I just got "well, actually'd" on an obvious joke.

Good thing there is the Solar Roof that Elon Musk promised us three years ago.

    Touche.

I couldn't stop myself. Her shoulder shrug to emphasize THE solar company was too distracting

Looks like it could be a long, dark weekend in California, and people are already getting antsy.

My brother at the bottom of the Cajon Pass and in the heart of the wind tunnel has panels on his roofs. But texted me today he's not totally off the grid. The winds start howling Thursday.

Meanwhile, I'm in the midst of a 60-degree temperature drop here at 5,280 -- but relishing the Dodgers going down.
