MUFC crapped the bed today at West Ham. Late goals conceded at the end of each half. The field is ripe for a Little 14 team to finally crash the Big Six. Everton or Wolves?

Wolves are currently in the throes of the Europa curse. I doubt it will be them.

Rapinoe wins the FIFA Women’s Player of the Year yesterday. I know this is a bad hot take (and I love so much of what she stands for), but she was not even one of our best 5 players at the World Cup. She’s late form Beckham — a slow deadball specialist and crosser.

Don't care if it's the Carabao Cup. Watford needed some sort of positive result after that shitshow at Etihad, so I'm going to enjoy today's win.

Spurs losing to Colchester on penalties the surprise of the day.

Also, does anyone know if NBC Gold works in Canada? Or if there are good Premier League bars in Montreal?

Assume not because they don’t own Canadian broadcast rights to the EPL.

It appears DAZN has the Canadian rights, and they have every game. And there's a free trial available on the app, so I may just download Saturday morning so I can watch. Or ask around on Friday night to see if any bars open in the morning to show games.

Yes, DAZN has everything. It sucks, because it means another subscription, but it's good in that they really do have EVERYTHING. I can watch every single Burnley game this season. That's something that makes 15-year-old me gasp in wonder.

Did Man City lose a bet or did they willingly choose those unis?

So Ligue 1 has a Chinese TV contract. To accommodate Chinese fans, it moved the time of a Lyon-Nantes match to 1 p.m. Lyon time. This for a reason I do not know pissed off the Lyon fans mightily. So their response was to have the sections of the stands across from the cameras act as a gigantic old-fashioned card section which created a giant Free Tibet flag in Tibetan colors. Pretty good.
