    Once I figured out where the monologue was going, it was probably the most on target one they've ever done.

    It was strong start.
    Musical guest was off-the-wall. Or on-the-wall and the ceiling. That was awesome!

    I've defended them for a long time. But Saturday night felt like they were riding out the string until they could do the next political sketch.

    Though I admit I liked Billie Ellish walking the ceiling.
