Had one of the best-selling jerseys in the NFL the past few years at Pittsburgh, Oakland valued him enough to trade for him and give him a bigger contract and NE snapped him up ASAP when he was available. But nobody embraced him.

  2. He's right about being a child, though.

No he’s not. He’s a mature college educated professional man. He’s a parent and a businessman with tens of millions in career earnings. He’s a product of his upbringing as a spoiled and catered to athlete. Consequences for poor actions are always mitigated by what he could do on Fridays Saturdays and Sundays. Reducing him to a child excuses his conduct and is racist and bigoted. Not that you’re racist or bigoted but the general attitude surrounding excusing athletes

I think it was his stepfather in an interview who said Brown was a longtime abuser of women.

If the Patriots turned their back on him, I don’t think many others will think they have a better chance of reigning him in.

I also think he could dent the shield severely, but he does not have the right people around him to do it.

He’s a walking CTE case. If the Steelers rushed him back after Burfict, they have a catastrophic lawsuit on the hands. But players lie about concussions to teams. Gronk just admitted to it.

I’m just waiting for a player to document a mismanaged concussion treatment. It’s going to happen pretty soon.

One small problem with the theory that the Steelers were somehow negligent in rushing Brown back after Burfict knocked him out. Brown didn't play again that season. The Steelers, without Brown, were eliminated from the playoffs by the Broncos the following week. He had an entire offseason to recover.

There are players whose concussions have been mishandled. The Steelers may have done it at some point, but they didn't do it with Brown, at least not in the aftermath of the hit by Burfict.

After the Burfict hit he should have been in a dark room for days.

Just because he didn’t play doesn’t mean he didn’t try to practice or workout that week. Unsure if he pushed himself or Pittsburgh did.
