Should be in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

Damn, damn, damn. Part of the soundtrack of my youth.

Should have lived to see his Hall induction.

I always thought Gimme Some Water was a top song.

Almost died of an OD in the 80s - came back with Take Me Home Tonight - and a few more. Herb Caen once had a line that Huey Lewis looks like a cop, but is a rock star, Eddie Money was a cop but looked like a rock star.

I mean, RIP and all, but he can wait behind Gino Vanelli and Winger.

GTFO with that. He had a slew of great songs, man. Winger? You crazy.

I'm not suggesting Winger is good.

Eddie Money, all due respect to the guy, did not have a slew of great songs. He had three hits. A couple of them are pretty good.

Put me down as a fan of “Gimme some Water” as well. Great song that practically vanished from the radio. Another fave was “It’s Gotta be Love.”

I have two very specific Eddie Money since my teens years were just after his career faded in the late 1980s.

    — Him just showing up at an MTV rock and Jock softball game because he heard about it while driving around. They showed him in the outfield and he just looked cooler than everyone else playing.
    — Beavis and Butthead watching a video of Shakin and quasi making fun of the twitchy faces he was making. Butthead tries to mimic it, and then Beavis tries but only does his normal stare.

    Take Me Home Tonight
    Two Tickets to Paradise
    Shakin
    Endless Nights
    Walk on Water.
    I Wanna Go Back
    Baby Hold on to Me

I just more than doubled your claim. Those are all 7 big hits that you still hear regularly on the radio.
