Antonio Brown sued - he deserves his own thread

Gonna speculate that he ain’t gonna be available for Week 2.

 

Was about to post in the NFL thread. Yeah, wow. Patriots could not have known, right? Did the Raiders?

Will the NFL pull the "we'll wait until all the facts are in before we act" deal?

 

Waiting for someone to suggest this is his 4D chess move to get released by the Patriots.

 

Why is this a lawsuit and not a criminal case? These were only a year and two years ago.

 

It doesn’t count unless Adam Schefter reports it and Peter King defends the NFL’s handling of it and Stephen A take Antonio Brown’s side.

 

My guess would be there are two likely explanations. One is they don't have enough evidence for a criminal case and they know it. The other is that the sex was consensual and he likely treated the woman like shit after it happened, so she is trying to hurt him and get paid. The latter was what happened with one of the accusations against Roethlisberger and the woman did get paid.

 

What's it like to aim for humor and fall so consistently short?

 

Oh good, now we get to talk about this moron for another three or four weeks.
Suspend him while case is pending.
They have the Baker Act in Florida for involuntary institutionalization, that might work too.

 

It's not a case, though. It's a lawsuit.
