Are there SJ equivalents for people covering other topics?

For those who write about more than sports, or are looking to start doing so, are there any good sites like this one dedicated to job postings, freelance networking, etc., on other beats (e.g. pop culture)?

I've looked and yet to see a journalism-specific forum that isn't SJ or /r/journalism. You might have more luck on the latter, but most threads are college students asking how to get into the business or people complaining about the latest NYT hot take.

There are forums for everything - EVERYTHING.

A quick google search ought to help you find what you need.

I mean... there aren't any old-school and -- most importantly -- ACTIVE forums for journalists that isn't on Slack, Reddit or any newfangled platform. I'd love to hear your suggestions because I did a quick web search and came up with nothing.

You think the splintering this board has undergone is dramatic wait until you read the shit that went down at InhomeDaycareProviders.com, IDPRejects.com and TheChangingTableDesk.com.

This is true. Take it from me.

A derivative of Internet Rule 34, IIRC.
