    Andrew Lopez should get this if he doesn't have something set up already. He was the T-P Pelicans writer before the merger.

    Checked his social and it doesn't appear he's gotten a new gig. Did he get laid off at the merger?

    It was a buyout/takeover more than a merger and *everyone* was out of a job. A portion of the former NOLA people have applied and been hired for positions at the Advocate. He was not among them.

    FWIW, he's continued to work the beat and even has broken news on Twitter despite not working for any news outlet. So he's still plugged in. There'd be no adjustment time.
