I have a hard time believing he'll walk away from $8 million a year -- by that point perhaps more -- because the players are getting paid. Somebody needs to call him on it.

This may have been answered, but Liberty is throwing tons of money around. Rest assured Cuse is getting a hefty payday.

Is ... is he offended? It seems like folks are offended for him.

I think he made the correct choice. I know Alma doesn't, and if he hadn't already won a title, we could talk about it. But he did, and led a playoff team.

You also have the dynamic wrong. If he played against Syracuse, he couldn't play this year. This is because he didn't redshirt, which is most likely because the coaches wanted to free up his spot a year quicker and knew they'd add talent that would surpass him. So that timing doesn't matter.

Exactly. Hurts could stay at Alabama because he had a redshirt year to burn if he needed it (he graduated, so he didn't, instant eligibility) and would have eligibility at his new school. If Bryant plays in five games last year, his career was over. Could still play in four and use it as a redshirt season.

It just couldn’t happen to a better kid or family. All of this Shit talk by this kid and he’s done nothing.

Wisconsin has itself quite a mess. Player expelled via Title IX, unable to make statements because of criminal case. He's acquitted swiftly once the jury finishes its procedure. School won't immediately let him back in, he and his lawyers are going quite public.

Coach was supportive but with enough flexibility to back out. Seven team leaders sent a letter, now public, to the chancellor and attended a press conference his lawyers put on. It's a lot of fight to stay at that school, but I suppose some folks want to fight it out.

This might be the oddest sports tweet of the week.

Oh Come on. It took a lot of vision for them to go and copy what the Big 10 Network started seven years earlier.
