Lol. Not today, globalist. I've frequented 8chan for years, and I know exactly the kind of content and tone people use there.

Don't forget violent video games! Some people are still stuck in the early 2000s.

    1. How will estate sales or inherited firearms be treated? If somebody's parent dies and leaves them a couple of firearms, are they supposed to take them to the buyback program or would they be allowed to sell them? And will the buyback program pay market value?

    2. Who determines "assault-caliber?" A .308 and a 7.62 round are pretty much identical. You can even interchange them in certain rifles. But the .308 is one of the most popular rounds for hunting big game such as elk and whitetail.

    1. I think we can devise some way to handle inheritance issues like this, especially through the estate attorney. I further think that private sales can be conducted on a consignment basis through a licensed/certified firearms dealer.

    2. I think we empanel national/international experts to decide things like this. Perhaps based on muzzle velocity, penetration characteristics and shockwave dynamics. Maybe we need to de-tune some of this ammo. If a lightly loaded .308 metal jacket is popular for hunting, then it stays on the approved list in quantities to reflect hunting for sport or meat.

"I really think we need to get away from using the term lone wolves, because while they are single actors, they are part of a larger ecosystem. I just think it’s going to get worse before it gets better. They’re all trying to outdo each other, not just the last person, but Timothy McVeigh."

Not really my preferred genre, but I do like some early grindcore (of which pornogrind is a subgenre) like Napalm Death, Carcass and Brujeria.

To add to what @Azrael said, I'd be in favor of a three-week or one-month waiting period before anyone could buy a gun — any gun. Although that wouldn't deter a determined killer, I hope it would deter a large number of spur-of-the-moment killers; I'm thinking specifically of domestic violence killers here.

The NRA will fight tooth and nail against any kind of national system, be it background checks or the number of guns one person owns. Their Big Brother arguments will find wide swaths of believers.

Absolutely there should be no more sales of AR or AK style rifles, which are not hunting rifles. I've shot a 10-round clip with one, and the sound of those rounds is so loud and piercing that I'd have to double up on hearing protection if I ever shot another.

Not five miles from my house is, I believe, the nation's largest seller of ammunition. It's a giant place, and although I have no real numbers to back it up, I imagine they sell millions and millions of rounds a year — and probably 99 percent of their sales are shipped through the mail. I've bought .22 ammo from them, and every order comes with an offer to join the NRA, to which I say no fucking way.

I also believe it would come to armed conflict if there was a real push to amend the Constitution's 2nd Amendment, which I believe needs to be much more specific instead of its current vague wording.
