    That's my old home town.

    Suffice it to say, if the Fullerton police handled this properly they did so by accident and the delay was they were looking to cover it up out of force of habit.

    The FPD is made up of guys who (a) retired from or (b) were kicked out of the LAPD. They beat a schizophrenic homeless man to death a few years ago. I believe they claimed it was self-defense until the video surfaced of a cop grinning and saying "We're going to beat the fuck out of you" before beating him to death.

    Interesting.

    I have always wondered why the police after shooting somebody consistently shout "SHOW ME YOUR FUCKING HANDS". It would seem to me it would be more effective to say, "I am going to get you help, but I need you to put your hands behind your back first, so I can handcuff you for safety" . Meh

    Is the SCNG doing a much better job of crime reporting in the last few years, in spite of consolidation? IMHO they are more objective and less a PD PR department.
