This might be addition by subtraction for both teams.

Are Harden and Westbrook going to steal the ball from each other so they can shoot it?

Not only do the Rockets reemerge as a legit title contender, they rid themselves of the Paul-Harden feud.

HOWEVER, OKC also made out well here. Not only did they acquire tremendous pick capital, Paul is pretty well-liked in OKC from his time there with the Hornets.

The Thunder have eight additional first-round picks and four pick swaps over the next seven years.

Plus whatever they can get for Steven Adams, since there's no point in keeping him. He's probably worth a first.

And they don't have to keep Paul. They can either try to move him (LOL) or stretch him.

If you're OKC and you have to deal with a disgruntled guard, might as well have two extra first-rounders and two pick swaps for your trouble. To say nothing of the fact that they could turn around at some point in the next two years and trade Paul somewhere.

Can we just move the Oklahoma City Trumpists back to Seattle, where they belong?

OKC has the resources for a long-term rebuild. Houston seems to be keeping a foot wedged in that window of opportunity the Warriors have shut on them the last two years.
