For MLB pitcher Brett Tomko’s father is credited with coming up with the name for which NBA team?

    The Heat?

Nope. Older than the heat, but younger than the original teams.

Well I just looked to see where Brett Tomko was born, so I imagine it's the team in that city. I like that team name, btw. I like how a certain college uses it better, though; better branding. Of course, I might not even be thinking of the right city/team :D

    It’s the Cavs.

As for that college, I am awash in its merchandise right now at my brother in laws.

Who hit the 100th home run in all star game history? Hint it was 1975 and it came in the next at bat after the 99th home run.

Who is the only man to have played on both a World Series-winning team and an NFL-championship winning team?

    Clarence “ace” Parker?

    Edit: he’s not.

Nope, but he would be the answer to another good trivia question. The only member of the Pro Football Hall of Fame who lived to 100 (died at 101).

That era... I’ll go with Bench.
