    At the end of “A League of Their Own”, when Old Dottie asks Old Marla how her husband is and she replies with “He’s good,” with just a little too much emphasis.

    I probably read too much into it, but with the story of Marla being the awkward one who somehow gets her man, I’ve always thought there was a little hidden reference there.
