Carnac: TP, hamburders and William Barr.
Ed: TP. Hamburders. And William Barr.
Carnac opens envelope: Name three things attached to Donald Trump’s ass.
    Ed: Hi- yo!

Isn't policy itself an acknowledgment that each of us will operate in our own self-interest to the extent allowable by law? That's the whole reason people believe in the necessity of government intervention. It's game theory 101.

Amash was a nay on the Barr/McGahn vote.
    Another Flakean fraud.

    HanSenSE-
It's not just how they handle the lies.
They report the witless barnyard nickname insults breathlessly.
I'm glad Dale got his payday but what good does it do chronicling the lies if nothing are done about them.

Steny Hoyer faces storm over congressional pay boost

Always wondered why Congress doesn't offer free (or reduced rate) housing to legislators and staffers. Have building for House of Reps, for staffers for the Senate. Make them suites or quads with a shared kitchen. Probably especially helpful to interns.

    Stolen from FB:

    This is interesting.

19 Democratic candidates visited the Iowa Democratic Party's Hall of Fame yesterday to deliver a five-minute campaign pitch to a throng of state party activists — and they hit the stage with a walk-out song of their own choosing, per TIME's Lissandra Villa:

Michael Bennet: "The Rising," Bruce Springsteen
Cory Booker: "Lovely Day," Bill Withers
Steve Bullock: "Small Town," John Mellencamp
Pete Buttigieg: "Never Giving Up," Batchelor
Bill de Blasio: "Rudie Can't Fail," The Clash
John Delaney: "I've Been Everywhere," Johnny Cash
Tulsi Gabbard: "Ain't No Mountain High Enough," Marvin Gaye and Tammi Terrell
Kirsten Gillibrand: "Good as Hell," Lizzo
Kamala Harris: "Work That," Mary J. Blige
    John Hickenlooper: "Good Life," OneRepublic
Jay Inslee: "Mr. Blue Sky," Electric Light Orchestra
    Amy Klobuchar: "The Bullpen," Dessa
    Beto O'Rourke: "Clampdown," The Clash
Tim Ryan: "Old Town Road," Lil Nas X feat. Billy Ray Cyrus
Bernie Sanders: "Power to the People," John Lennon
Eric Swalwell: "Caught Up in the Country," Rodney Atkins
Elizabeth Warren: "9 to 5," Dolly Parton
Marianne Williamson: "Higher Ground," Stevie Wonder
Andrew Yang: "Return of the Mack," Mark Morrison

Personally think Lovely Day is the best of the bunch, but for "walk-on-ness" (Amplitude (how fired up with it get people) multiplied by hipness and newness) going with Old Town Road. Some candidates need to hire some staffers who have listened to music this decade.

Those quasi-annual stories about reps living out of their own offices make for better reading than those about housing allowance fraud.

Gotta give Beto and DeBlasio points for the Clash though they hardly are anarchists
Fox & Friends uses Clash music sometimes as a bumper going to commercial
    Chumbawumba too
I’m sure Kilmeade and Doocy have no idea

Back in the non politically correct 60s Carson did one as topical as today’s headlines though it never would get on the air today

In the House, the bill has 304 co-sponsors so I’m guessing the speech was as much for the Senate as anything. Or just the sake of Stewart grandstanding. At any rate, it’s gonna pass.

As for why they have to ask for more money: The fund went through 5 billion in 4 years, when they last asked for authorization in 2015. The bill will federally fund every claim, including those of children near ground zero, until 2090.

    Neat words.

So open borders is your policy then?
