That was one of the most compelling NBA Finals games I can remember in some time.

Some of the Toronto fans cheering as Durant gave up the ball and fell down in the injury is one of the biggest non stories I can remember. For fucksake, home teams cheer for everything and boo the other team. They did not know at that moment the severity of the injury. Move on.

I keep hearing this morning about this freak Achilles injury. The man had ice on his heel after playing five minutes. This can't be a surprise to anybody.

Even if they did, it's a non-story. Really, fans of teams from the Oakland area are gonna get on their high horse about celebrating the injury's of an opponent? This shit happens ALL the time. Sports fans, especially young ones, are tunnel-vision morons.

It's not young kids sitting courtside.

It's the super-wealthy elite, and waving bye-bye as he limps off is complete trash and bush league. It reeks of never being to a game before or playing the sport or rooting for a team or city that hasn't played meaningful championship games in 25 years.

Oh bulllshit. They also started chanting KD the minute they realized. It’s a charged up atmosphere in the Finals, sports fanboys are morons across the world. To think this wouldn’t happen almost anywhere is naive.

Ya mean like a part owner of the Warriors shoving Kyle Lowry for no good reason?

There are good, er, dumb people on both sides.

Fans are told all the time to come to the game and be loud. They are admonished if they are not loud (see Oracle, end of game 4). As @Cosmo pointed out, there is so much compelling stuff going on in these games. I refuse to get upset if the Raptor fans didn't exhibit the proper nuance when the opposing superstar went down with an injury.

If Draymond Green can put together 2 All NBA type games theWarriors can still win it. He needs to double his point production. IIRC, 1 more technical and he sits a game. How fucking awful and funny would it be for him to have a great game 6 and get T’d in a Warriors win and have to sit game 7.

Waving goodbye does not make any noise.

And we all know the difference between applauding respectfully and cheering.

Just because both sides have people doing it, it does not make it right.

Didn't Drake even know better and how to act when Durant went down?

Any word on how Durant's surgery went last night?
