Where is the unwritten rule that baseball plays too many fucking games and that fewer and fewer people care each year?

I tire of the whining over "unwritten rules" in baseball. You know what? There's a reason a team kneels at the 1 as time runs out when they have a 14-point lead, too.

No, you don't steal second with a seven-run lead. It is bush.

No, you don't throw at a guy's head. It is bush.

No, you don't bunt to break up a no-hitter in the ninth. It is bush.

(And no, you don't send death threats to the guy who does any of these things. But that's a matter of common sense.)

    How about the 8th?

Again, common sense. You're in a 1-0 game, you have an argument. Yes, if you're in a 3-0 game, you have an argument. Just don't be bunting to break up a no-hitter if you're down 7-0.

I know it's not the millennial way to leave some things to common sense. But there ya go.

How about if the defense is in a shift?

    This was a 3-0 game.

I know you're trying to shoot holes into it, and all I can do is smile. If a player wants to thumb his nose at the "unwritten rules," then let him bear the responsibility when an opponent retaliates.

I know you think all this needs to be concrete and not prone to interpretation, but many, many games have been played between opponents who understood what you do and what you don't do.

    Your stance is idiotic.
You can't answer legitimate questions because your stance is not justifiable.

Bunting to get a hit: Bush
    Hidden ball trick: Great baseball

    So dumb

Then don't play the game. :)

NFL playoff tiebreakers involve point differential.
If I'm an NFL owner and my coach kneels on the 1-yard line with a 14-point lead, I fire his ass on the spot.
