.38 Special- If Is Been the One is my favorite, but also Hold On Loosely

.38 Special is Ozark Outboard Drinking Busch Light Rock. Not Yacht Rock.

That being said, I have two sources working for my YR when driving.

    Channel 70 on Sirius.
My 250-song YR Spotify on my phone.

    Better song wins.

“Black Cow” and “I Gotta Try” are my GOATs.

Was a glorious day a couple weeks ago when Ch. 70 changed over to Yacht Rock. Though they have added some strange songs.

Always dig the instrumentals like Herb Alpert's "Route 101" and the theme from Cannonball Run.

Before I went Spotitfy premium, yeah I enjoyed Sirius' Channel 70 (I thought it was closer to 21 though)

BTW, in the early 80's my buddies and I were chugging Mickey's Big Mouth and Coors Light to .38 Special.

Then you were doing it wrong.

Unless your goal was to get stupid drunk and have a hellacious hangover, in which case you were doing it exactly right.

Molly Hatchet is drunk tubing behind that party cove reject. (Rejected only because it’s not a date-rape pontoon, otherwise it fits right in.)

Cannot go wrong with Chuck Mangione.

Also, Herb Alpert's "Rise." He wrote the riff, not Biggie. If only the kids knew the origin of so many of the samplings that are omnipresent in today's music scene ... (Stevie Wonder and Earth, Wind & Fire, etc. ... )

We were freshmen when Hold On Loosely came out (17 - 18), so we we got As for proper execution right?

“Caught Up In You” gets the volume cranked up in my car.

Years ago when I worked in Podunkville, .38 Special came to perform at the Podunk County Fair. All of us at the paper got press passes to cover various events during the week, which meant free admission to the fair. So I got to see them perform for free.

Pablo Cruise is peak yacht rock.

.38 Special is Lynyrd Skynyrd’s one-off little brother.

This site may help you decide: Home - Yacht or Nyacht?
