Best part of the 7th hole is that it’s 15 minutes from Lake Tahoe.

That should be on his tombstone. He’s whiffed on a few.

I've got tickets for Saturday and Sunday with my dad and brothers. We're coming up from SoCal but won't have time to swing through Tahoe.

Looooove a prime-time major championship. With apologies to east coast papers with early Sunday deadlines if Tiger wins.

Tombstone is already carved: "Two in, four out."
And if you tossed everyone who made a mistake during a commentary there would be no message board left.

You should see what the 7th at Pebble did with its downstairs neighbor.

In addition to the beautiful setting, Pebble's beauty is exemplified by the simplicity of its layout, no blind shots, no real elevated greens except for the diabolical 14th, combined with the very small greens and US Open greens requiring Masters-like precision. June is a gorgeous time for Monterey Bay too.

Heck, BYH* can get there in six seconds.

    * Not sure this is right.
