RIP Doris Day

So did she slap Rock Hudson the first time she saw him in the hereafter?

 

Who does the sun shine brighter than now?

Was that the year she won the Golden Globes?

 

Of course, to this 8-year-old kid hearing her sing "Que Sera Sera" on her TV show meant I had to go to bed.

 

She dated Maury Wills, a serious relationship they couldn't go public with at the time.

 

Didn't catch the guy's name, but some film expert on CNN said "she had everyone thinking Rock Hudson was straight."

We also got an electricity joke and the usual, I didn't know they were alive comment. I would say the boob comment is flattering and that pic is actually well known in the way the Farrah Fawcett poster was known. And he called her ma'am, that's nice.
