1970s blacksplotation film, The Black Six, featured which six NFL stars. Hint four of them are now in the Hal of Fame.

I'd guess Jim Brown is in there, Bernie Casey, Fred Williamson, Deacon Jones. (And now know that I would be wrong).

None of the above, surprisingly since brown, Casey and Williamson did have strong acting careers.

It is surprising - I was trying to put together an all-time football roster of actors and oddly enough was overloaded with defensive lineman and had a hard time figuring out offensive skill position players. When you have to choose between Terry Bradshaw and Joe Namath, it's not good. I couldn't think of a single o-lineman who became a notable actor.

Offensive linemen tend to stick to legitimate theatre. I saw John Hannah in Hamlet, and he was riveting.

But seriously Is Anthony Munoz’s role as an orderly in The Right Stuff the highlight of offensive linemen in movies?

    Does college football count?

John Wayne was an offensive lineman with USC and Tommy Lee Jones played with Harvard.

    (Note: I looked it up).
