NCAA website advising student-athletes on choice of new school?

    Wow. Now the story is dead. The tweet was removed first. I'm sorry I failed on both accounts.

    I think we have our answer on whether this thing was ethically sound.

    Not that this piece was likely some bastion of journalism, but further proof that sports institutions/teams trying to create their own content is very one-sided, even when they hire "reputable" journalists (i.e. Andy Katz works for NCAA.com). Sadly, not sure how many readers know or care.

    I know some communications folks at the NCAA and the .com content sometimes drives them nuts, as it's a third-party run site (Turner) and stuff like this will get through without anyone at the home office seeing it. NCAA.org, on the other hand, is under their control -- but fans don't go there because it's not really a "sports" site.
