Sounds like the plan was for Magic to be Magic, but Pelinka, Kobe's guy, is so hated in the NBA teams would ask to negotiate with Magic instead

84-74 looks so weird in today's NBA

Tiger’s winning majors, NBA playoff games are finishing in the 150s ... is it 1997 again?

Blake Griffin isn't playing. This is not going to be good.

    And in exchange, no Heat.

And the Pistons get to stay stuck in the mediocre trap.

Griffin is the Rickie Fowler of the NBA.

Not only that, the Bucks have extra incentive to kick the Pistons' asses, on the scoreboard as well as physically, after Drummond's cheap shot on Antetokounmpo.
In the olden days, they'd make sure to send the #11-12 guy off the bench into the game with orders to put Drummond on a stretcher.
Now they'll probably be content to beat 'em by 50-60 points a couple times.

It's not like the Heat were catching the world on fire, no pun intended.
